LED display screens are electronic products, and sometimes there may be some problems. Below, we will introduce several common troubleshooting methods.
01 What is the reason for the few seconds of bright lines or blurred screen image on the LED screen when it is first powered on?
After connecting the large screen controller to the computer, HUB distribution board, and screen properly, it is necessary to provide a+5V power supply to the controller to ensure its normal operation (at this time, do not directly connect it to 220V voltage). At the moment of power on, there will be a few seconds of bright lines or "blurred screen" on the screen, which are normal test phenomena, reminding the user that the screen is about to start working normally. Within 2 seconds, this phenomenon will automatically disappear and the screen will enter normal working mode.
02 Why is it unable to load or communicate?
The reasons for communication failure and loading failure are roughly the same, which may be caused by the following reasons. Please compare the listed items with the operation:
1. Ensure that the control system hardware is properly powered on.
2. Check and confirm that the serial cable used to connect the controller is a straight line, not a crossover line.
3. Check and confirm that the serial port connection wire is intact and there is no looseness or detachment at both ends.
4. Compare the LED screen control software with the control card you have chosen to select the correct product model, transmission method, serial port number, and serial transmission rate. Set the address and serial transmission rate on the control system hardware correctly according to the provided dial switch diagram in the software.
5. Check if the jumper cap is loose or detached; If the jumper cap is not loose, please ensure that the direction of the jumper cap is correct.
6. If after the above checks and corrections, there is still a problem with loading, please use a multimeter to measure whether the serial port of the connected computer or control system hardware is damaged, to confirm whether it should be returned to the computer manufacturer or the control system hardware for testing.
03 Why does the LED screen appear completely black?
In the process of using control systems, we occasionally encounter the phenomenon of LED screens appearing completely black. The same phenomenon may be caused by various different reasons, even the process of screen turning black may vary depending on different operations or environments. For example, it may turn black at the moment of power on, it may turn black during loading, or it may turn black after sending, and so on:
1. Please ensure that all hardware, including the control system, is properly powered on. (+5V, do not reverse or connect incorrectly)
2. Check and confirm repeatedly whether the serial cable used to connect the controller is loose or detached. (If it turns black during the loading process, it is likely due to this reason, that is, it is interrupted due to loose communication lines during the communication process, so the screen turns black. Do not think that the screen body is not moving, and the lines cannot be loose. Please check it yourself, which is important for quickly solving the problem.)
3. Check and confirm whether the HUB distribution board connected to the LED screen and the main control card is tightly connected and inserted upside down.
04 The reason why the entire screen of the unit board is not bright or dimly lit
1. Visually inspect the power supply cables, the 26P ribbon cables between the unit boards, and the power module indicator lights to see if they are functioning properly.
2. Use a multimeter to measure whether the unit board has normal voltage, and then measure whether the voltage output of the power module is normal. If not, it is judged that the power module is faulty.
3. Measure the low voltage of the power module and adjust the fine adjustment (near the indicator light of the power module) to achieve the standard voltage.
