How to determine if the LED control card is in a normal working state?
After the control card is powered on, please observe the power indicator light first. A red light indicates that the 5V voltage has been connected. If it does not light up, please immediately turn off the 5V power supply. Check whether the 5V working voltage is properly connected, whether there is overvoltage, reverse connection, failure, output short circuit, etc. Please use a separate 5V power supply to power the control card. If the red light is not on, it needs to be repaired.
General troubleshooting steps for LED control card faults
1. Confirm that the control card is compatible with the software.
2. Check if the connecting cable is loose or loose, and confirm that the serial cable used to connect the control card is compatible with the control card. Some control cards use a straight through (2-2, 3-3, 5-5), while others use (2-3, 3-2, 5-5).
3. Ensure that the control system hardware is properly powered on.
4. Select the correct product model, correct transmission mode, correct serial port number and correct baud rate according to the control card software and the control card you choose, and correctly set the address bit and baud rate on the control system hardware according to the Dip switch diagram provided in the software.
5. If after the above checks and corrections, there is still a problem with loading, please use a multimeter to measure whether the serial port of the connected computer or control system hardware is damaged to confirm whether it should be returned to the computer manufacturer or the control system hardware for testing.
6. If the fifth step is inconvenient, please contact the manufacturer for technical support.
Common Phenomena of LED Control Card Malfunctions
Phenomenon 1: After being connected and powered on, only some programs will stop playing and start playing again.
The main reason is that the power supply is insufficient and the control card automatically restarts. 1. Reduce brightness; 2. The power supply with control card comes with two less unit boards; 3. Increase power supply
Phenomenon 2: When the control card is normal, the display screen does not display or the brightness is abnormal
After the control card is connected to the display driver and powered on, the default is 16 scans. If there is no display, please check whether the data polarity and OE polarity settings in the control software are correct; If the brightness is abnormal and there is a particularly bright line, it indicates that the OE setting is reversed. Please set the OE correctly.
Phenomenon 3: When transmitting information to the control card, the system prompts "Error occurred, transmission failed"
Please check whether the communication interface connection is correct, whether the jumper on the control card jumps at the corresponding level position, and whether the parameters in the "Control Card Settings" are correct. Also, if the working voltage is too low, please use a multimeter to measure and ensure that the voltage is above 4.5V.
Phenomenon 4: After the information is loaded, the display screen cannot display normally
Check if the scan output selection in the "Control Card Settings" is correct.
Phenomenon 5: Communication is not smooth during 485 networking
Please check if the connection method of the communication line is correct. Do not connect the communication lines of each screen together to the computer interface by mistake, as this will generate strong reflected waves and cause serious interference to the transmission signal. The correct connection method should be adopted, as detailed in the "Communication Interface Usage and Precautions".
How to solve communication congestion when using GSM data transmission and remote dialing?
How to solve communication congestion when using GSM data transmission and remote dialing? Firstly, check if there is a problem with the MODEM. Disconnect the MODEM connected to the control card and connect it to another computer. This way, both the sending and receiving MODEMs are connected to the computer and disconnected from the control system. Download a software called "Serial Port Debugging Assistant" from the internet, and use it to set up and debug MODEM after installation. First, set the MODEM of the receiving end to automatic response. The setting method is to open the serial debugging assistant on both ends, and enter "ATS0=1 Enter" in the serial debugging assistant of the receiving end. This command can set the MODEM of the receiving end to automatic response. If the setting is successful, the AA indicator light on the MODEM will light up. If it is not lit, the setting is unsuccessful. Please check if the connection between the MODEM and the computer is correct and if the MODEM is powered on.
After the automatic response setting is successful, enter the "Receiver Phone Number, Enter" in the serial port debugging assistant at the sending end, and dial the receiving end. At this time, some information can be transmitted from the sending end to the receiving end, or from the receiving end to the sending end. If the information received on both ends is normal, the communication connection has been established, and the CD indicator light on the MODEM is on. If all the above processes are normal, it indicates that the MODEM communication is normal and there are no problems.
After checking the MODEM without any issues, if communication is still blocked, the problem may be due to the control card settings. Connect the MODEM to the control card, open the control card settings software at the sending end, click Read Back Settings, check if the serial port baud rate, serial port, protocol, and other settings are correct, and then click Write Settings after making changes. Open the Offline King software, set the corresponding communication interface and parameters in the communication mode, and finally transmit the script.
